Designing your own car air freshener is easier than many people think. You need no design software and no printing experience: in the configurator you make the key decisions, upload your logo – and our design team prepares everything print-ready.
This guide walks you through the process in five steps and shows what to look out for at each one.
Overview: everything you can personalise on an air freshener
Step 1: Choose collection and quantity
First, choose the collection and quantity. The minimum order is 250 pcs. Up to 1,000 pcs, one design is printed; from 2,000 pcs, you can have a separate design per 1,000 pcs – handy for several branches or campaigns.
Step 2: Upload your logo or artwork
Vector files such as PDF, SVG, AI or EPS are ideal. Photos and graphics are best uploaded as high-resolution PNG or JPG – the original file, not a screenshot. If you only have a simple file, our design team checks it and gets in touch if it is not good enough for the final size.

Step 3: Pick a shape
Besides classic shapes, a custom outline is possible, for example following your logo, a character or a vehicle. If you would rather not decide, choose the option for our design team to suggest a suitable shape.
- Compact logos work well in a round or square base shape.
- Wide word marks benefit from a landscape shape.
- Distinctive characters or vehicles stand out most as a custom outline.
Step 4: Choose fragrance and back side
Choose from 40 fragrances, optionally as intense fragrance. Fresh scents often suit car washes and detailers, subtle notes suit dealerships – but in the end your taste decides. With the fragrance sample set you can test them first.
The back can be designed completely differently from the front at no extra design fee. Popular options are contact details, a short message or a QR code to your website or review page.
Step 5: Review and approve the proof
After ordering you receive a proof. Corrections are included until approval. Logo, text and QR code are checked at actual print size. Production only starts after your explicit approval and takes 10–12 working days.
Avoid common mistakes
- Text too small: phone numbers and web addresses must stay legible on a few centimetres.
- Too little contrast: a light logo on a light background gets lost in the car.
- Key details at the edge: keep logo and text away from the outline.
- Too much content: one clear message beats all the information at once.
